ANECDOTES TO FRIENDS IN KINDS This post is dedicated to all of you that commented on my last post; I will equally use this medium to thank well-wishers and all the friends that extended their HBD messages and calls, you coined me into what I am 2day…. I owe u a great deal and you deserve payments in kinds. Thank you so much! El-rufa’i you are randomly selected, your kind heart in problem solving is what I admire most thanks 4 all the good work. I remember your acetominophene chain of reactions… all the pharmacology stuffs all the hours we spent together in an ebullient way within a confided room called the bch lab. Hmm we shared memories I cannot forget. Wish you and your mum a blissful life both here in our mundane world and the heavenly hereafter. The time we spent was ephemeral but well spent, Thank you. Hizozo, hmm the sound reminds me of many things: the eloquent writer, I never had the chance to convey to you how I feel in every writing you post, sometimes I succumb and ask myself “ Is this really a metabolite or the likes of dele momodu…?” Your flat matress in your single room at J-BLOCK reminds me of your friends (hips don’t lie), Jabaye, Malam misbah and the danbattas. The time we spent in B5 during Ramadan with my and your friends Hamza Musa Dahiru and Tadros and later when the block was deserted is still crystal clear in my mind. I remind you of your name “Scofield” if you may have forgotten but there is no margin for that in the kind of your eloquent style. To your Rhodonase enzyme I remind you of your 419 and the woman that nearly explode the grenade “angella” while you were still on the hot stand. I cannot finish this synopsis without mentioning your Prof. Rabiu Aliyu Umar who teaches in a didactic fashion. You are a friend indeed; you have a holistic charisma for greatness. I admire your apt, cogent and lucid style of writing. May your sister’s soul on the other side be in eternal peace; never let the tasshahud escape…hmm I searched for the person that will breach the gap between choice and sympathy but all my results summed up to you Abubakar bro. Greatness is a quality leaders do have upon unfolding circuitous circumstances; you are an acclaimed person who everyone in our family revered, do not dash the hopes we all have for you. My advice to you is learn and never stop learning, always be good, do good and good will light your path. We share the love between bloodline and you know what it means 2 share both paternal and maternal blood groups. I will be forever in your service and I will always be there for you in terms of need… This is a short anecdote on my friend Kalia, your nonchalant demeanor and a highly reserved attitude deserves vaunt times without number from all the people that associated with you in one way or the other. Your voraciousness for peace and tranquility is for everyone to emulate. Do you remember the old days of Mr. Akpale and Mrs. Remember at Federal Staff Primary School? Hmm I remember vividly the way you normally go to school in a bus with you been the boss and the class rep of the bus. Hehe! Anyways I have to admit that after years of searching and shuffling, I come to conclude that certain characters of yours are the likes of the prophet and Ababakar Siddiq which is why plethora of people pays respect to you. You are among the friends I value and cherish Kalia. I stand by your ambition of becoming the IG of police. Hehe thanks so much for your comment. Rufai Kasim, a friend to Lami Danmalam, Lola, and a onetime class rep of SS3C that I over threw. Do you remember the chapters we perused in the New General Mathematics concerning indices and logarithm, the unending fight we fought about my chair and your broken desk? When I recall, these are all times of amusement. The memories of the border area we shared when you lived at Sokoto close to our chemistry teacher’s home address Mrs. Amina are still crystal clear in my mind. You play a part in my life thank you… Marzook, a warm hearted fellow, my revered games captain, a boyfriend to Hannatu and Zainab, hope you recall all those teenage memories of you running and rushing to the dining hall, the evening time we used to play football in front of Niger House during our extension, your stunning penalties you took with style… hmm how about your only Achida west? The way you ran up and down sometimes into the ceiling with a bucket filled with rice cooked with a boiling ring just in the name of “solo”, please tell your friend Tubebe to repent on the chickens he had stolen and fried during our extension more so, the best part was the time Rima House SS3 students slaughtered a goat facing west and a party was thrown… heheh wow! Those memories were not meant to go loose… they really play part in our lives till date. I thank you for shaping me into who I am. Aliyu Kane, please do not interpret this name in substitute as the wrestling “Kane”, this is a gentle Fulani guy, an industrious, hardworking and dedicated metabolite. Whenever the name Kampala comes into my mind you evolve simultaneously. How is your unfathomable river Nile with the inordinate fishes it has? I write this piece in deference to remind you of your gene therapy, the series of drama you played with your Prof and the time you invested in helping our co-metabolites. I never had the chance to inform you how you touched my heart with such an act of charity. The sky will be your limit mate, keep the good work… You never know what a real competition means till you see M Hassan in action, whenever I hear or see the word competition what comes to my mind pristinely is “who in this world would have experienced the vivid and most dramatic competition I have ever witnessed?” M Hassan, do you remember the FEGO days when you finished up 15 sachets of indomie (and you know what a sachet of indomie meant then) just in the name of competition? Do you remember when you finished up a bucket of rice and went to sleep just to wake up 2hrs later to tell us you were hungry? Hehe! Remember the Rima House days from JS2-SS3, those memories were not meant to go loose. You are among the friends I always open up to. Inform your Aunty that she is one in a million and a great mother indeed to have raised a great child that lives and dwell normally in Maiduguri. I am in euphoria friend; I thanked Allah to have met you in my life… If you want to know the real meaning of excessive sleep (hypersomnia) and you accidentally find Abdulhafiz Damilola Osho then you are good to go cox you have found the exert answer that none other can surpass. This is a metabolite whose system hibernates and could go to sleep for 13hours at the very instance after taking 3cups of coffee and a cup of lipton an hour later. What do you expect when this same person is not on enhancers? Hehe! Osho you made Biochemistry set of 2010 lively; you have a special character in you that not only humans but even your poultry birds finds suiting… your dad most be really proud of what a wonderful son he has! Your sister Amina is a really nice lady be proud of having such a great and wonderful sis… May Allah make it easy on your Cancer Research and Molecular Biology. It thrills me having you as a friend, thank you… In the end, I express my happiness and gratitude to you all for having confidence in me and retaining me as a friend. Ramadan Mubarak, thanks…
