ANNOUNCEMENT - - - - Last Friday I got a text that the Land Lord wanted to speak with me. I assumed it was about the heat not working so I went to his office. He said he was ready for us to sign the new lease since ours was up Dec 31st, a five year lease. And he also increased our rent by >30%. Effective January 1, 2015, giving us until January 10th to leave if we didn’t agree. Considering, the long awaited and still nonexistent sidewalk, lack of heat, leaking ceiling, no vents in office or kids room for heat or air, we could not consider a five year lease. So, it is with great sorrow that we have decided not to renew the lease. We have also decided not to pursue another venue. We, the Meyer family, will no longer own Dance Trance Huntsville Madison. Now the more promising news - - We do however, have a few people interested in moving to a new location and becoming the new owners. This has not yet been decided. It is being looked in to. IF this happens, all membership will be moved over to the new facility. And your instructors have all agreed to teach for the new owners. We will keep you posted. As of right now the last day for DT at this location is January 6th. I apologize for any inconvenience. And I hope you all will continue DT with the new owners, if they choose to be new owners. We have all really enjoyed all of you, your friendships, laughs, talks, drinks, dinner, desk side chats, outings, publicity and Fun….You members are what has made all this worth it.
