ANNOUNCEMENT: March STAND WITH PALESTINE: END THE MASSACRE IN GAZA Saturday 26th July. Starts 2pm Aotea Square. We made ourselves heard on Saturday with possibly the biggest march Aotearoa has ever seen for Palestine, but the terror continues tonight. Lets build on that passion and anger & flood the streets with our flags and banners again and turn the pressure up, lets get even more of us out on the streets to really show Israel and all the Governments complicit in its ethnic cleansing that the people of Auckland stand with Palestine, not just last week, but as long as this obscene violence continues. In London, they had 10,000 on the streets 9 days ago, and then they brought the streets to a standstill with 100,000 a week later. We will be the first of many countries who will be rallying once more next Saturday. We will be taking over Queen Street with something a bit different this time. We stand for justice for all Palestinians and for the right to live in dignity, free of siege, blockade, home demolitions and the murder of our loved ones. At 07.11 this morning local time, Gazas MoH issued an update: Israel has now killed 501 Palestinians, and wounded 3,135. Hundreds of homes destroyed. 72% killed have been civilians. Israel is out to destroy the lives and existences off the resilient people of Gaza, we stand with them for justice, peace and freedom.
