ANNOUNCEMENT: The 2014 SIW Christmas Gifts Giveaway Project to deserving KaSIW, who are currently living in Santa Ignacia, is now underway. Submit your nomination, who can also be yourself, post it at SIW and write a very short story in English, Tagalog, Ilocano or mixed, kung saan gagamitin ang gift ng SIW. Ang halimbawa ay pambili ng gifts na ipamimigay din sa iba o pambili ng pang noche buena. Please attach a picture of your nominee, which can be with or without a companion. A panel of 3 to 6 judges, as well as the likes of the members, will select the top 5 entries, which will be awarded PhP 5,000.00 for 1st place, Php 4,000.00 for 2nd, Php 3,000.00 for 3rd, Php 2000.00 each for 4th and 5th places. The most liked entry will earn 5 points, 2nd is 4 points, 3rd is 3 points, 4th is 2 points and 5th is 1 point. This point system will also be used in the top five selections of each of the judges. Any entry can win in this project, even the ones with not so many likes, because of the presence of the judges. There is a limit of 1 entry per member. This project will end on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11:59 AM, Pacific USA time. After the end of the project, an announcement will be made for the winners or their representatives, to pick up their gifts from our SIW President, Romeo Valdez Limayo in Santa Ignacia. The organizers reserve the right to make changes on this project throughout its course. Donations are always welcome.
