The Sacred Heart Catholic Church C.W.O.: Shall be hosting the Apapa Deanery CWO on Saturday 12th October, 2013 at 2p.m. It is mandatory for all members to attend in proper CWO uniforms. The CMO, CWO, and CYON: meetings holds next Sunday after the 10a.m mass. New members are welcome. COMING EVENTS Archdiocese/Parish The Devine Mercy Devotion Group: of our parish is hosting the Apapa Deanery Devine Mercy Group today being the Feast of St. Maria Faustina. Parishioners are welcome; and they will be having their induction Ceremony during the 10a.m mass. October Devotion: The month of October is dedication to Mary. There will be recitation of the Rosary every evening by 6.00p.m from 1st to 31st of October. LOYOLA JESUIT COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO JS1, 2014 TO 2015: Application forms for the Entrance Examination are now available online. Buy your Scratch Card at the Parish Office, at the rate of =N=8,500 ( Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Naira). The Entrance Examination forms were activated online since, on the 9th of September, 2013. Purchase, Filling and Submission of Forms online is from 9th September, 2013 to 6th January, 2014. Sacred Heart Clinic: The eye check-up at Sacred Heart Clinic comes up on the 9th of October, 2013. HARVEST ANNOUCEMENT Harvest of Restoration! Restore Us O Lord! • Family and Birthday Thanksgiving: will be done today for those who either missed the day set for their Family or Birthday thanksgiving. • Harvest Dinner/Dance: Harvest Dinner tickets are on sale at all masses at a modest fee of five thousand naira. The Restoration dinner is next Sunday the 6th of October 2013. It promises to be a day of excitement as there will be music, comedy, dance and above all thanksgiving. You can pick yours at all masses on Sundays and the parish office during the week. • Harvest Retreat & Night Vigil: Comes up on the 11th October, 2013. • Charity Sales: Charity Sales is still ongoing. Sales are made every Sunday in the Parish hall at giveaway prices. Some clothes are sold for as cheap as one hundred naira. While we thank parishioners who have donated items, we implore on those yet to do so to donate New/Barely used Clothing, electronics and Household items etc. You can drop items on Saturday or Sunday after each mass or during the week at the parish office. • Family/Children Tree subscription can now be made at the publicity stand during all masses, Three Thousand Naira per Family and Five Hundred Naira per child. • Please Pay your Harvest Levy: Men =N=1000; Women =N=500; Youth/Children =N=200 • Harvest of Restoration!
