ANNUAL MYF REPORT 2014: NI SA BULA VINAKA! Year 2014 with the Lagilagi MYFers was indeed a very challenging but fruitful year for us all. We started off with Manasa Cabebula as our Team Leader and was assisted by Pita Bainivanua. Our total roll then was 52 with an average attendance of 7 members only every Monday night at 8pm. And this was always the norms and culture from Jan14 – Jun14 when the changes was forced to happen due to the erosion of members to other peers activities in Narere and the vast deterioration of Spiritual growth which really is an alarming report to ponder upon by the church elders. A new-look Committee was formulated after the decision by “Vakatawa – Mr Jone Vuniwa” and the Bose Vakarau in July14 and they’ve all agreed on the appointment of Mr Pisinieli Manakilagi to take up the post of MYF Consultant til December14. A meeting was called thereafter and several changes was made for the betterment of the group and as far as nurturing is concerned. The following appointment was tasked to collaborate thus making a difference with ideas worth sharing:- Liuliu - Semi Lacabuka Jnr Vukevuke - Fereti Moceciri Dauniyau - Sereatoga Waqanivalu Vukevuke - Ulamila Raisele Vunivola - Jone Ledua Vukevuke - Talei Waqanivalu Daunisere - Veniana Talei Vukevuke - Ilaitia Koroi Team Light (First Names from A – L) Team Salt (First Names from M – S) Team Yeast (First Name from T – Y) We kicked off with only 4 active members and the Self Organized Learning Environment with the weekly program being neatly calendared by our MYF Consultant with a vision & mission was really accomplished with our target being met. A total of 21 members were enrolled to the One Week MYF Camp in Oct14 with a record crowd of 33 members in all til the end of this year. Which for us all, was a milestone achievement that reflected in our Financial & Secretarial growth report 2014. Thanks to the Vakatawa for his immeasurable support. The “Komiti” members for providing timely assistance of funds. Our parents/guardians for their parenting support. To Team TFL of Pisi & Josevata & the Lautabui family for their kind donation @ Bula shirt for the boys during our MYF Camp 2014 and the Salaibulu family for the food, physical and financial support during our MYF Camp & Picnic. To the senior Sunday school of Wati, Lanieta, Lavenia, Marama & Koroi for their support.
