JOHANNESBURG - The Bramley police have issued a warning about another vehicle committing crimes with the use of blue lights to imitate police. 04 July 2013 | David Jenkin Bramley police spokesperson Warrant officer Moses Maphakela said there had been a recent incident on Sandton Drive near Sandton City shopping centre involving a white BMW three series with a blue light in which a man had been robbed of his firearm. He said that it was a new model. He said that it was believed that the suspects who had been using a a black Golf GTI, featured recently, had changed vehicles and were now using the BMW. Sandton police spokesperson Captain Kym Cloete confirmed the warning about the BMW and the suspected link to the Golf GTI. Maphakela said the public must be aware of suspicious vehicles following them.
