ANOTHER MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! Desert Rose Ministries has just been given 5 acres of land by the community in Suswa to build DRM Girls Rescue Home!! And, it is the exact location that I wanted!! God is moving here in Kenya!!! DRM has partnered with worthjust1.org in order to raise the necessary funds to build it. When finished we hope to house up to 50 girls. These girls are being sold for a dowery to a man who may have several wives and may be old enough to be her grandfather and will have FGM (female genital mutilation) performed on her. The Rescue Home will give the girls a safe place to run to and will provide a home, education, medical care, food and a loving Christian environment.
