ANOTHER THEOLOGICAL DEPARTURE In the NT, Jesus urged people to follow him and believe he was God in the flesh based his teachings, and if not his teachings, then at least on his ability to do miracles. TNK states in Deuteronomy 13 that even a false prophet can do miraculous signs and wonders, but NOT to follow him if he then entices you to worship anyone other than YEHOVAH, the UNSEEN GOD. He says these miracles are for the sake of testing you to see if you love God with all your being. Will you believe God when He says repeatedly that He is not a man and has no image, or will you believe a man who says that he is God? When there is an empty grave, there is really no proof that theer was ever anything IN that grave, and when there is a virgin birth, the baby being born breaks the hymen, so no one can ever tell whether or not she ever WAS a virgin. No proof. We can believe God who spoke to an entire nation at one time in their hearing or believe a man who had a supposed revelation with no one else to corroborate.
