ANOTHER YEAR IS GONE SWEET FRIENDS...! ★★A POEM BY MOHAMMAD ULFAT ANJAN ABOUT THE COMING OF NEW YEAR(2015)AND LEAVING OF THE OLD ONE(2014)★★ Another year is gone sweet friends , Thus our life dear gradually ends ; This year too would run and pass , None does comprehend this precious loss ; Each day takes us towards the grave , None can stop the tide or wave ; We fools celebrate this painful game , As if we would ever be the same ; Today we are young tomorrow will be old , All would perish this youth ,this gold ; And one day we would run into the grave , The young and old ,the coward and the brave – Should we celebrate this drama of time? That robs a youth of his glory and prime ; And snatches the charm of a lovely rose, Every beauty born leaves and goes ; Today came a new year tomorrow it would go , Where are we going ?Dont you know ? Yes these years take us to death , And one day would cease this life giving breath ; All shall we leave -this world of charms , And we shall be alone with nothing in the arms ; And Allah would question us the use of time , The use of this youth ,glory and prime – Allah gives us a chance with each coming year , To know our Lord and change my dear ; To love , to live ,to give and forgive , And discover paths strange and new ; To lead this life as per the wishes of the Lord , And know the truth and turn to the God ; For we all to Allah shall return , And some would sing and some would mourn ; Allah gives us this life only once friends , Lets turn to Him before it ceases and ends.........!
