ANSWER FOR THE LAST WEEKS QUESTION. Q.Are there many Gods in Hinduism? What is your view ? A.This is one of the most confused thoughts of Hinduism, because of our temples and deities there is a misconception that there are many Gods. Apart from this there is a statement that we have 33 million Gods, but when we think scientifically and logically about God - God is something related to the human mind and not in every place or heaven , Vikunta, Kailasha, Bhramalokha etc.Also not in temples, mosques or churches. Unless one understands ones own mind you cant understand the true existence of God. Human mind always has a tendency to objectify everything which is beyond mind. Unfortunately we do not have certain education which talks about the mind, its nature , depth, vastness etc. According to Hinduism God and mind are 2 sides of one coin, that is why it is said that God is within us. ( Tatvamasi ) So when we ask this question- How many Gods are there? The answer is from the same Consciousness ( GOD ) different minds appear. Let us discover logically and scientifically the reality of sameness ( same truth ) that resides in every one of us.Once this is understood through the scriptures then all misconception about God disappears. Question for the coming week. Q.Other religions have only one God, why does Hinduism propagate many Gods?
