"ANTHAKA MUNDHU AA THARUVATHA REVIEW" Banner:Sri Ranjith Movies Cast:Sumanth Ashwin, Esha, Ravu Ramesh, Rohini, Ravi Babu, Madhoo, Srinivas Avasarala, Jhansi,Tagubothu Ramesh, Sohail and others Music:Kalyani Koduri Cinematographer: P G Vinda Editor:Marthand K Venkatesh Story, screenplay, dialogues, direction:Indraganti Mohana Krishna Producer:Damodar Prasad Release date:23/08/2013 Indraganti Mohana Krishna who could not score with his last venture ‘Golconda High School’ has arrived with a different themefocusing on relationships. Let us see if he scores this time. Story Anil (Sumanth Ashwin) is a very bubbly and fun loving guy who wants to enjoy all pleasures of a relationship before getting married. He has his own reasons for that. He comes to Hyderabad and meets Ananya (Eesha) and falls in love with her. She also starts liking him. But Ananya’s parents (Ravi Babu, Madhoo) haverelationship issues despite love marriage. To clear this confusion, both Anil and Ananya decide to have a live-in relationship to see their compatibility. Whether they are successful or not forms the rest of the story. Performances Sumanth Ashwin is a charming boy and his eyes have a spark. His confidence and energy levels are good but he needs to control them wherever required and show convincing expressions during emotional scenes. Eesha is cute and has a sensuous voice (if it is her own). She has good glamour quotient and shows promising potential as a performer. If she can plan her future movies properly she will goto different places. Good to see Madhoo back but it looks like she wanted to make full use of this chance so she put energies of ten films in one film. Also, she needs to come out of that anorexic look and appear healthy. Srinivas Avasarala is one bundle oftalent who is somehow not being used properly by the industry. He was hilarious and needs to be given more chances to exploit his potential. Rao Ramesh was excellent, Ravi Babu was elegant and contained, Rohini was natural, Jhansi was standard. The others did their bit as required and contributed effectively. Highlights *.Cinematography *.Screenplay *.Concept *.Performances Drawbacks *.No sufficient humour dose *.Dip in emotional graph at criticalsequences Analysis Indraganti belongs to that cult of filmmakers who believe in sensible stuff and his films are completely subject based with clean depiction and no room for masala or time pass situations. There is a tone of seriousness andemotional preaching than light hearted entertainment in them. So, one can go with these standard expectations to this film while entering the theatres. The good side to the film is the way human values and the gender difference has been portrayed in different situations. Of course, one cannot miss out onthe point that this could be purely his perspective on relationships but then the conviction is strong. The film takes off on a lighter notewith elements of romance, light humour and the interval bang sounds promising. The second half has its own interesting moments and lands in a safe zone. On the flip side though, there are few places wherein the target audience ie the youth audience would find it a little higher on sentiment than something to be enjoyed for the two plus hours. The film gives a very pleasant feel in terms of visual experience thanks to some impressive camerawork and art department. Even the production values are of good standard. Overall, this is a film which would appeal to the multiplex and urban audience to alarge extent and youngsters who are getting into a relationship. Bottomline:Good insight on essence of relationships...give ur rating
