ANTHONY GIROLAMO Bishop Loughlin class of 68 June 12, 1950 - November 1, 2014 Otisville, NY Anthony Girolamo, a retired parole officer and 23 year resident of Otisville, died on November 1, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer at Kaplan Family Hospice residence in Newburgh. He was 64 years old. The son of Felicia Nunziata and Nicholas Girolamo, he was born on June 12, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY. He married the love of his life, Frances Izzo in Brooklyn on October 6, 1979, and they celebrated 35 years of loving companionship together. Anthony was a member of the Otisville Lions Club, an adjunct professor at OCCC, an alumni of John Jay College in NYC and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Otisville. He loved spending his time being with his family and friends, and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife, Fran; his daughter, Elizabeth Ann; sister, Lisa Sheehan and her husband, Brian, of Westbury, L.I., and nieces and nephews: Michael, Daniel, April, Ryan, Nicole, Matthew, Gabby, Joshua, Theresa, Michael and Catherine. Anthony was predeceased by his twin brother, Louis Girolamo. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4th and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5th at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 6th at St. Stephens Church in Warwick. Burial will follow in Warwick Cemetery, Rt. 17A, Warwick, NY 10990. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
