ANTWANN WEBBS INITIAL DRAFT OF THE 2016 50 STATE STRATEGY THE REBUILDING AMERICAS INFRASTRUCTURE & WORKING AMERICA WAGE EQUALITY ACT OF 2017 THE REBUILDING AMERICA INFRASTRUCTURE ACT PHASE I - Will create more than 20 million jobs by initiating the largest Infrastructure rebuilding project in U.S. history. According to the 2013 Infrastructure Report card we have a D+ Infrastructure Grade and it will take $3.6 trillion investment by 2020 to get to an A+ Grade. The Bush-Cheney Iraq War, a war we should never have waged, will total $3 trillion by the time the last veteran receives needed care. Investment in our infrastructure would create up to 20 million decent paying jobs and make this country more efficient and productive allowing America to once again have the greatest Infrastructure in the World. THE WORKING AMERICA WAGE EQUALITY ACT PHASE II - Will raise the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour including raising tipped employees minimum wage to $7.50 an hour. THE WORKING AMERICA WAGE EQUALITY ACT of 2017 will also raise the income of all working Americans with individual incomes between $15.01 an hour or $28,819 and $200,000 a year. Minimum Wage will automatically adjust annually keeping pace with the rising cost of living. In In February 2018 we would raise minimum wage to $11.00 an hour and $4.00 an hour for tipped workers. This will create more demand for product and services therefore lowering the cost for goods as we all learned in basic High School Economics. The Bush tax Cuts did not trickle down and go into the economy it trickled into Overseas Tax Havens and Corporate Greed. THE REBUILDING AMERICAS INFRASTRUCTURE & WORKING AMERICA WAGE EQUALITY ACT OF 2017 would power record economic recovery and growth. This is facts not Fox News and Republican Party and Programmed Propaganda of Misinformation confusion for the ignorant and not well informed. Details being worked out by Antwann LaCraig Webb and the New Breed of Democratic Strategists and will be scored by the CBO. We will include the Bernie Sanders 12 step economic agenda in the WORKING AMERICA WAGE EQUALITY ACT as outlined below. 1. Invest in our crumbling infrastructure with a major program to create jobs by rebuilding roads, bridges, water systems, waste water plants, airports, railroads and schools. 2. Transform energy systems away from fossil fuels to create jobs while beginning to reverse global warming and make the planet habitable for future generations. 3. Develop new economic models to support workers in the United States instead of giving tax breaks to corporations which ship jobs to low-wage countries overseas. 4. Make it easier for workers to join unions and bargain for higher wages and benefits. 5. Raise the federal minimum wage from $7.25 an hour so no one who works 40 hours a week will live in poverty. 6. Provide equal pay for women workers who now make 78 percent of what male counterparts make. 7. Reform trade policies that have shuttered more than 60,000 factories and cost more than 4.9 million decent-paying manufacturing jobs. 8. Make college affordable and provide affordable child care to restore America’s competitive edge compared to other nations. 9. Break up big banks. The six largest banks now have assets equivalent to 61 percent of our gross domestic product, over $9.8 trillion. They underwrite more than half the mortgages in the country and issue more than two-thirds of all credit cards. 10. Join the rest of the industrialized world with a Medicare-for-all health care system that provides better care at less cost. 11. Expand Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and nutrition programs. 12. Reform the tax code based on wage earners’ ability to pay and eliminate loopholes that let profitable corporations stash profits overseas and pay no U.S. federal income taxes. I am a new breed of Democratic Ground Strategist who has ears on the street and because of my passion for politics I will be changing and focusing my Masters on Public Administration in Campaign and Elections. I was a fellow organizer with the Wendy Davis Campaign and constantly requested that the issue be concentrated on raising minimum wage, but the campaign was too focused on making the Republicans look corrupted. People all ready know that the Republicans are corrupted. As for the Democratic agenda in the last election it was a big mistake to not have a 50 State Strategy. I will be constantly working on this bill but will need help in getting it scored by the CBO which is important to facts in keeping that 24 Hour Fox News Misinformation off balance. In fact we need a 24 National T.V. Commercial Messaging Machine as part of our 2016 50 State Strategy. No more playing Defense lets go on the Offensive.
