Speaking at the launch of the PAS election machinery in Taman Sri Jenaris last night, Anwar said that the courts have ruled that the judgment for his sodomy trial would be finalised this week. “My lawyer, Karpal Singh informed me that the courts have ruled that the judgment for my cases will be concluded this week. “Since when do the courts pass judgments on cases for the entire week? They are all ‘pandikutty‘ (piglets)”, said Anwar, who is also PKR’s candidate for the Kajang by-election. He was referring to his sodomy trial, which will be heard tomorrow by the Court of Appeal. In January last year, the Kuala Lumpur High Court acquitted Anwar on charge of sodomising his former aide, Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
