APC ’ll Deliver Dividends Of Democracy Come 2015 – Okorocha Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has assured Nigerians that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will deliver good governance to the people of the country in 2015, urging the people therefore to throw their weight behind the party and ensure it comes out victorious. Okorocha who stated this in a press release signed on his behalf by Ngozi Onyeocha on the occasion of the 75th birthday celebration of the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun in Benin City, Edo state, promised that the present leadership of the party is sure to lead the country to a brighter tomorrow. The governor noted that the country under the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had not done much in giving the people the needed boost and taking care of the welfare of the people and as such, he said the APC would strive to give the people good representation anchored on the principles of equity, justice and fairness. The governor who said he was in Benin to felicitate with Chief Oyegun on his birthday, described him as the mouthpiece of the common man. He thanked the people of the area for the warm reception accorded to the celebrant and prayed to God to grant him more strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of APC. Earlier at the thanksgiving ceremony, the celebrant Chief John Oyegun said that the event was to thank God for his mercies and goodness in his life. He maintained that his contributions to the church and humanity had remained his unfailing beacon in his life journey both in politics and other aspect of endeavour. Chief Oyegun who used the occasion to speak on politics said that the APC has come to stay and also to bring to the people the desired dreams of the founding fathers in the nation.
