APCL condemns the brutal rape of a 7 years-old christian girl from DASKA. Nawaz Salamat Islamabad - 26 april 2014 : APCL condemns the brutal rape of a 7 years old christian girl from DASKA. Sara Iqbal is only 7 years old innocent child of her parents. Last week 4 landlords of that village brutally raped her. Sarah is admitted in a hospital in Sialkot and is still under observation. On the other side, Police is not at all co-operating with the victims and culprits are still not arrested. The minorities in Pakistan are facing many kind of challenges in their own motherland. We are never treated as the equal citizens. Government of Pakistan is failed to protect the life and sacred places of the minorities, said Nawaz Salamat. We are very sad to hear about the recent incident from DASKA. Badal Anthony of APCL visited the Sara Iqbal in Hospital and assured them that we will stand with them in this difficult time. The Christian community in Sialkot organized a peaceful protest to condemn this shameful incident. Representatives of many political parties and human rights organizations participated in the protest. The Christian community appealed the Punjab Government to take notice of this issue as soon as possible.
