APHA 2004 flashy show prospect Gelding located Imperial NE Gus is an APHA broke, solid, nice looking gelding. Hes been roped off of but needs a refresher, neck reins, responsive to cues, takes his leads, slow mover. Intermediate rider if asking him to work but is a perfect lead line horse for kids, NOT a babysitter/beginners horse. He is a grandson of Dirty Rocki who is an APHA Champion, Superior Western Pleasure, World, Congress and APHA Champion Sire. Gus is the first one to the gate. Reason for selling is due to misrepresentation. He was represented as a kids/husband horse for any setting and this is not true. If not ridden constantly he will test the rider if he is asked to do more than he wants that day, which makes him far from a kids horse. He is good for a show home who rides consistently or competitive halter classes. Not spooky at all! He is currently being rode in pastures to check cows and is learning the ropes.
