APPEAL: Did you witness a robbery in Codsall? We are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at Tesco store in Billbrook Road, Codsall, on Wednesday 17 December. The incident happened at 10.30pm when three masked men went into the store and went behind the counter stealing an undisclosed quantity of cigarettes and cash from the till. One of the offenders carried what is believed to be a hammer and another a crowbar. They joined the fourth man who stayed outside the shop and left in a blue-coloured Audi A4. The vehicle drove off at speed towards the general direction of Wolverhampton. No one was injured. The offenders have been described as - one white, one black and one Asian, wearing dark clothing and dark-coloured scarves covering their faces. They carried a distinctive builders type 1-tonne bag with the words Dudley Road Builders.
