APPEAL TO STUDENTS, PARENTS, CIVIL SOCIETY AND ALL CONCERNED Our Sikkim, a tiny Himalayan State wherein very peace loving people are living, has got an immense attractions from all States in India as well as from worldwide due to the attitude, behaviour, hospitality and honesty of our people living herein and good governance. It is very sad and unfortunate that our students or children got to face adverse result from police authority. Whose fault was there? Students were outraged due to the fee hike by the authority in one side police were compel to maintain law and order which is the most important in society on the other. First of all we must be guided by the ethics and moral values. The students would have taken the matter to the government in a proper way which could have been solved easily instead of holding strike without permit which is illegal. Now, I as a member of a civil society appeal to all students, parents and all concerned that we must come in a platform and ensure peace here should avoid its politicization. We should not add petrol on it and suggest you all not to take the law on hand because these students are the future of our society, State and the nation. We should not let any political party to play politics in the name of students. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAINTAIN PEACE in the interest of all
