APPEAL To fellow dog walkers ! PLEASE PLEASE Keep your dogs on leads through farmland. PLEASE DO NOT, use the farm fields for your dogs fun and allow them to run amok. I am very upset that yet again sheep from Far Wan less in Trawden have been subjected to another attack, which I was witness to. Two males were allowing their dogs to run round the farm land in a frenzy at side of the beck, over the bridge, heading up to Far Wan Less( the field entrance coming from the tram lines). One of the dogs a chocolate coloured Shar-pei type dog, immediately ran up the embankment and started to chase the sheep. The owner could not get it to come back. The other dog was, I think a white American Bull dog breed. Both owners sadly did not have full control of their dogs and to my horror, the Shar-pei has either killed or injured one of the sheep. I dont know the two males who spoke with foreign accents but I think they know the area, as they headed up through Far Wan Less towards Wyecollar ! I have reported this to the Police and if anyone knows who they are please can you ring 101 or crimestoppers 0800 555 111! Both males were of average height and medium build. They had dark cropped hair ,one had a beard, they both were wearing dark puffer style jackets and spoke with as I said spoke with a foreign accent.
