We are currently recruiting for a First or Second Year Carpentry Apprentice to join a well established and successful construction business based in Elderslie. The Role You will be working with a small crew mostly on new residential builds in the South West corrider with some jobs located accross Greater Sydney. This role is perfect for a labourer looking to start an apprenticeship and gain their qualification or for a Second Year Apprentice who is looking for a stable and secure employer. Benefits As an MEGT Group Training Apprentice you will be employed directly by MEGT and working on site with the host employer. You will be working full timw whilst attending TAFE weekly as you complete your qualification (Cert III Carpentry). You will receive a weekly pay plus sick leave and holiday pay and you will have the ongoing support of an MEGT mentor throughout your apprenticeship. Requirements We are searching for a candidate with a strong work history and a strong work ethic, requirements include; Car and drivers licence White Card Experience working on building sites (through apprenticeship or labouring) Keen to commit to completing a 4 year apprenticeship Hardworking and reliable Physically fit Good knowledge of hand and power tools Desire to make a career in the Building and Construction Industry Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident What Next?
