APRIL 10-12 Platform 1: Singing Shadows, Baroque and Folk This Side of the Blue created by Elizabeth Windnagel and Alex Hathaway Recommended for ages 12 and up This Side of the Blue is a classical baroque music concert, infused with contemporary folk tunes, electronic sounds, and shadow images that tell the story of the coming-of-age of a young water nymph. Singers, instrumentalists, and puppetry artists all collaborate to bring this tale to life. This Platform also features Dressing the Moon, a puppet opera based on a Hassidic folk tale that portrays the magical journey of a weaver in search of fabric to keep his friend the moon warm as she waxes and wanes.
