AQHA 2005 Black Mare *Please read entire ad before asking questions!!! * Price: $1800 Color: Black (True black! Does not fade in the summer months) Age: Coming 10yrs old Height: 15.3 Level: Advanced beginner/Intermediate Name: ASHWOODSTORMWARNING (4786390) Is on ALLBREED. (Papers in hand) Barn Name: Melody Keeper: Very easy! Location: 8miles North of St. Croix Falls WI This is a great big stout mare! Foundation breed. I have not had her tested yet but her son that I own is 90% foundation. This mare got off to a let start in life. She was broke out 3years ago now. At age 2 she was turned into a broodmare. She has had 5 foals, (a colt, 2 mares, and then 2 colts-that I owned. I still own one of them.) You would never know it looking at this mare! No pot belly/Prego look!! Also did I mention all of her foals have been GRULLAS! I have also not color tested this mare yet but I am guessing she is E/E. Not 100% though. This mare has MY SKIP VANZI breeding and her attitude shows it! One of the sweetest mares I have. She has had 120 days’ worth of training last fall, was rode off and on this summer (as I was pregnant, I still rode her considering though) and now she has had a refresher and is exactly where we left off!! This mare is super soft in the face. Neck reins or direct reins, leg cues, lunges, stands for mounting, stands next to just about anything for mounting, ride her alone or in a group, crosses water(she is my water lover!) and bridges. Ride her down the road or the trail. Traffic safe, used to motorcycles, school buses, and farm equipment. Trailers (I have never had her in a 2 place but feel she would do it if asked). This girl has also been on several night rides and is never spooky. She is great with her feet for the farrier and you! (Current on farrier work). She is good for the vet, I vaccinate myself and she does a great job, just raises her head when she gets poked by the needle. Good for worming, doesn’t love it but will do it. (Current on worming and shots). Buy this mare now while she’s cheap, She is barrel/ cow breed! She also has the heart to carry you all day long! If she does not sell I will be putting barrel training on her and selling her at an increased price. We do have an indoor just down the road to test ride with this ice if you wish. Im sure I have missed some sort of information so please feel free to ask questions. I have several more photos and video upon request. ***NOTE: I by all means do not need to sell this mare. She does get used here and hay is not a problem. I would just like to see someone use her to her full potential. I have not one once of problem in keeping this mare as she works well for my husband as well. We will be going to a show on the 27th. Price will increase after the 1st of the year! She is coming along very nicely in her training!!
