Share Apply Nowvia Indeed Front Desk Agent Job Description Greets and accommodates all guests, clients, staff and security in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Provides excellent customer service so that all interactions result in a positive experience. Coordinates services to the guests and clients. 1. Maintains the highest level of Customer Service and Professionalism. 2. Directly participates in all Front Desk functions, duties and procedures. 3. On a daily basis, completes and reviews the Front Desk Pass-On and all emails in Outlook. 4. Performs all tasks as outlined on the daily checklists. 5. Follows and completes daily tasks, projects and procedures. 6. Answers phone calls and live requests efficiently and courteously. 7. Understands all pertinent aspects of customer service and hospitality. 8. Responsible for clear and timely communication between all departments. 9. Maintains constant knowledge of current programs and events. 10. Responds to all requests and takes ownership of all issues, ensuring proper outcomes and solutions. 11. Resolves guest and client issues with efficiency and diplomacy. 12. Assists with storing and inventorying all Front Desk supplies. 13. Maintains an adequate change bank to support the needs of the guests and client and follows the Steinberg Conference Center Cashiering Procedures. 14. Communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. 15. Issuing and monitoring safety deposit boxes. 16. Verifies all guest laundry/dry-cleaning pick-up and delivery. 17. In the absence of lobby security, monitors all guests and visitors, as well as luggage storage and pick-up. 18. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area. 19. Attends all mandatory meetings: Departmental and All-Team Member Meetings. 20. Follows through on all established University, ARAMARK and SCC policies, procedures and house rules; including the Steinberg Conference Center Team Member Handbook. 21. Uses good judgment, common sense, and fairness in decisions with all team members. 22. Maintains a high level of morale and cooperation. 23. Communicates all appropriate information to team leaders and managers via the established communication standards. 24. Displays and promotes pride in working for ARAMARK and the SCC. 25. Represents ARAMARK and the SCC in such a manner as to enhance their reputations. 26. Evidence by personal example, the philosophy of work ethic and personal/professional development that leads to maximum satisfaction and performance of all assigned tasks. 27. Follows and ensures that the business conduct policy is met. 28. Reports any concerns or violations of policies and procedures to the attention of your immediate supervising team leader. 29. Performs all other duties as assigned. Individual should have a passion for providing excellent customer service. Needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills; an aptitude for financial transactions; the capacity to multi-task and initiative to see what needs to be done and do it. Individual needs to be well-groomed and professional in manner and demeanor. Should have excellent telephone and computer skills: OPERA (preferred), Outlook, Excel and Word. Needs to be able to work independently and have excellent time management skills in order to complete work assignments during the scheduled shift. The individual needs to be accurate, detail-oriented and a problem solver; experience in the hospitality field is essential.
