ARCHINET is proud to present the 6th National Architecture Student Symposium with the theme, EMERGING VISIONS: Shifting Perspectives in Architectural Evolution It is a one-day learning event featuring most sought-after international architects: Andreas Schmitzer of Austria, an architect and furniture designer, establisher of Project A.01 Architects which focuses on innovations, future-oriented environment, and experimental exteriors; Inge Goudsmit is a Project Architect at OMA Hong Kong. Projects in which she has a leadership role include the Taipei Performing Arts Center currently under construction, the Yen Lac Binh Xuyen masterplan in Hanoi (2012), and the Maison Ullens Flagship Store in Paris (2014). The lectures will mainly discuss the complex process of the architects in addressing the design problems from conceptualizing to the realization of the design thereby creating a matrix of designs that when put together presents an evolution of elements continually transformed to realize the designers vision for the most apt approach. With diverse assemblies of solutions, the lectures will discuss about the different approach and strategies that leads to refined innovations and techniques. Happening this FEBRUARY 03, 2014 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm at Function Room 5 of SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. The biggest student initiated event will be attended by participants from all over the country.
