ARE THE LABOR ATTACHE AT YOUR CUNTRYS EMBASSY (WHOSE JOB IS TO HELP THE WORKERS) HELPING YOU PROPERLY? What is your experience if you call the LABOR ATTACHE (officer in-charge of dealing with workers affair) at your countrys embassy in a foreign country where you work at - do they serve you well and try to resolve the problem (e.g. call your employer) or they act rude, never pickup or respond to the email, or simply do not help much and wash their hand off your matters curtly? FYI, For the Filipinos, POLO is overseas equivalent of POEA at Pinas embassy in the country you work at. In addition to the MOM (Singapore Ministry of Manpower), you can report your employment related problems to POLO and ask them to contact your employer and intervene. In case, the office (they are called LABOR ATTACHE) at POLO at pinas embassy is not helpful then you tell them that you will complain to the NATIONAL SECRETARIES (ministers) OF DFA & DOLE as well as write to the major newspapers in pinas if the POLO do not assist you to resolve the matter.
