ARE WE TEACHING / HAVE WE TAUGHT OR CHILDREN TO PRAISE!? Ps 145:4 One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. This verse emphasizes the importance of passing on the praise of God from one generation to another. [ Judg 2:10 And also all that generation were gathered to their fathers, and there arose another generation after them who did not know (recognize, understand) the Lord, or even the work which He had done for Israel. ] Praise is to be taught to our children. The Bible directs us to raise a generation of praisers. We must not merely “suppose” that children will grow up and desire God. We must be careful. Whatever we possess of God’s blessing and revelation can be lost in one generation. We must consistently praise Him and we must also teach (by example, as well as by words), so our children and our children’s children will do the same.
