ARE YOU CONFIDENT of YOURSELF? Good Morning Friends, Its another week, thank God! You know, while I was in High School, some folks from a certain organization came to my school, they held a self empowerment seminar, and it was good! Now at the end of the event, the lead person stood up in front of all of the students and asked: How many of you are confindent of yourself? Menh! The hall went so silent you could hear a pin drop, and for what looked like 20minutes, no student stepped out The man went on; Are you serious? You mean none of you here is confindent of him or herself? It wasnt a funny period, some of us who would have stepped out didnt want to cos we feared they might ask a question, we may never have answers to, and we lost confidence, because we were scared to mess up It wasnt long, two students walked out, with a double mind atleast to save us all the shame and when they got there, the man asked? Are you sure you are sure of yourselves? He asked repeatedly and they said, Yes And then, the man after talking with some of his team folks, stood up straight and he said; For being sure of yourselves, unbehalf of this organization, we are paying your fees these whole term Wow! The quiet cemetry hall, welled up in noise and shouts; some where like; I for go oo...Chai!:/:o Hey! But its late I looked back at that story and its pressing in my spirit that the average Nigerian, have little or no confidence of him or herself, little wonder we achieve not much, and loose plenty of opportunities We are afraid to step out, we afraid of making mistakes but one thing we must understand is, if we do not make mistakes, we may never make anything else. God sent me your way to let you Know, youve got all it takes to win! Particularly if you are saved, there is The Spirit of A Lion in you. Dont step out this week, shrinking back from opportunities, Id like for you to face life squarely, if need be, take some risks. Listen, the biggest risk yould ever take is taking no risk, it is riskier to take no risk! Take risks but take calculated risks. I thank God that man never asked, How many of you are confindent IN yourselves? He said, Of yourself Our confidence is IN Christ and that makes us Confindent of Ourselves Step out today a conqueror and Success is surely yours, Dont shrink back, just FACE IT! God Bless You
