By selecting only the cream from the cappacino cofee.....meaning you are looking for only the nice uplifting scriptures so that the one who listens can say it must be from God as it is good and makes me feel good And so that you as the preaching or the seed sower may not be thought bad of. Let me show you how its done: Watering down scripture passage: James 4: 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up .......these are familiar to you as it is all thats been preached but what about what the word of God says between verse 7 and 10???? Now read the full scripture as taken from the Bible: James 4: 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. Preach it as youve heard it from God not men.....pleasing to God.
