ARE YOU VULNERABLE You are more vulnerable at certain times of the day to different crimes, and armed robberies / house robberies are more than likely one of the most dangerous crimes that you could be a victim of. Unfortunately a home in Westville fell victim to one of these this morning, fortunately not in our area. Mornings between 6am and 8am and early evening from 5.30pm to 9pm are you most vulnerable times, why: Mornings- You have just got up, you are opening up your doors to let animals out, going into your garden and leaving your doors open, packing your car, taking time in your driveway etc. There could be people waiting in hiding in your garden or holding observation on you from the street. Early evening- You arrive home from work, open all your doors, sit outside on your patio, most people not locking up until they go to bed, you are making yourself vulnerable. BE AWARE AND BE ALERT OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS, YOU COULD BE THE NEXT VICTIM. Have big dogs on your property, install outside beams so that you have an early warning system, keep your garden clear of bush where people can hide, observe activities and people in the street.
