ARE YOU YOUR OLD OR NEW SELF? NEW SELF DID AWAY WITH LIES! LIARS NEVER ESCAPE JUDGMENT! DO AS THEY SAY NOT AS THEY DO (JESUS ADVICE; SO NOT NEW AT ALL)!!! Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Colossians 3:9,10 NIV Although you may be clothed with your new self, you are still predisposed to tell lies! You have to take control of your life and stop telling lies; because satan is always on your back - trying to trip you up all the time! You have to become increasingly Christ-like! Jesus Christ is our Creator!!! A false witness will not go unpunished, And he who speaks lies will not escape. Proverbs 19:5 NKJV If you keep telling lies and it appears you are getting away with it, trust me, you will not get away; there is One Who Sees, Hears and Knows everything! He is the Judge standing at the door; His Name is Jesus!!! These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates. Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate, declares the LORD. Zechariah 8:16,17 NASB Be truthful in all things! Truth has become such a scarce commodity, even though readily available! Hmmm! Even when we judge, do we apply the standards of truth? This applies not just to those entrusted with justice in the law courts; but also to people in all walks of life! God hates lies, injustice and perjury! Do you honour God? Will you? Obey the Word of God and enjoy His Love and Blessings; disobey at your own peril!!! LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; Psalm 15:1,2 ESV Not just anybody can dwell on Gods Holy Hill or in His Presence or Tent! The Word of God makes very clear that you must be blameless, righteous and truthful to gain access to the Presence of the Lord! Can you strive towards this? Hmmm! May God Help us all to achieve what is clearly a lofty ideal for humanity born in iniquity; in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practise what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other peoples shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. Matthew 23:1-4 (NIVUK) Many religious leaders are daily accused of not practicing what they preach; this is not new! Jesus Christ Himself advised the people to do as they say (who have the responsibility of the Word of God in their possession) and not as they do! They know what to say according to the Word of God but themselves to not obey. Therefore you have the responsibility to monitor and discern to be sure theyre leading you aright. Otherwise, you ought just to listen to them and if theyre telling you the truth of Gods Word, dont look at how they act, speak or think, just obey the Word of God!!! (45) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, (46) who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. Matthew 13:45-46 Seek first the Kingdom of God; seek it as if your life depends on it! Meditate on the above example! Whatever you do, get the Kingdom of God! You can only enter as a little child! Otherwise, no chance for you or anybody who will not come as a little child! Hmmmm! May God Help us in this quest for the Kingdom of God in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
