Rudder volleyball swept brenham in the Area round of the 5A state playoffs. 25-22, 25-13, 25-20 After winning the first two sets, Rudder started the third set down 8-0, before battling back to tie it at 18. Taylor Young led the comeback for the Rangers with three aces and 2 critical digs. Allison Vaughan had 30 assists, 7 digs and 2 kills. Kianna Suber had 7 kills and 5 blocks. Brianna suber had 8 kills and 1 block. Tamaira Armstrong had 11 kills 4 blocks and 6 digs. Madison Smith had 8 digs and 2 aces.
