ARISE O COMPATRIOTS AND REVOLT NOW Nigeria is very ripe for a revolution, the shame at the NASS today calls for populist action against the state. The security agencies are used and abused since the advent of this insensitive government. Today, Nigerians are at the mercies of insecurity more importantly in the northeast of the country. We are continuously told the the security agencies are inadequate as a result of the resources to manage a larger force. Many of these tales resonates each time lacklustre performance of the force are expose. I never knew our police know the law even interpreting it when the Speaker defected. These policemen need refreshers course in civil rule and democratization as we continuously progress to stem the fragrant abused of state power. Todays shameless invasion of the NASS calls to question the rationale of the force. All security agencies in country had been compromised, politicised, religionalized, sectionalized, regionalized and factionalized. Whoever ordered police invasion of the hallow chamber does that on a personal vindictiveness without the interest of Nigerians at heart. This is a discretion, an irrational application of force. This is a misplaced priority by the rank and file of the police force. If lawmakers can not function in a democratic environment by the overt parochial use of force, then democratization will take years to deepens its root in Nigeria. This is very wrong, I totally reject police action today at the NASS and I call for a REVOLUTION. ON THE OTHER HAND Lawmakers on the other side were force to taste the brutal dosage of what common Nigerians on the street are subjected to by this same force. Yes! They were tear-gassed by the police. I saw these legislooters scaling the burglary proof. I watched them mopping their faces with handkerchief. So to the lawmakers, I say UBIAK (ASKOR), that serve you people right. Lawmakers became lawbreakers and we ordinary Nigerians that cue under the scorching sun in some localities to elect all of you became “lepers” of some sort. You avoided all of us like plague, preferring to address us through personal assistant. How I wish, those police men shot live bullets the way they did at University of Uyo students peaceful rally in June 12, 2014. How I wish the police had released some of the K9(Dogs). I expected heavy casualties just like Apo-6 where innocent squatters were summarily killed in cold blood. Today evening news is not complete, so no lawmaker died? But police shot at us during January 2012 fuel subsidy crisis, this same police force killed many Nigerians through accidental discharge. Adiok-ano-ifot ! I expected the passage to the great beyond. We would have been some looters less. Police sef fall my hand.
