ARIZONA MASONIC FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN Jerry Badinger, President WOW!! We just received the latest check from Grand Chapter for $ 6966 which brings the total received this year from OES – Chapters, Grand Chapter, and the Eastern Star Retirement Center Board during this past year to $26229. Please understand that by all the National statistics we know of on our program this represents, at a minimum, reaching out and intervening in the lives of over 1000 children who are currently at risk – and changing their lives in a positive manner. Most likely the actual number is over 1500 at risk children. With these donations we will be capable of conducting 2 plus workshops. We already have one scheduled for the week of Oct 28th in Tucson and are already working on one for Phoenix before the end of the year. Each time we schedule a class using these donations the Order of Eastern Star will be promoted as a sponsor of that class and the Educators will be made aware of the dedication and contribution of the Order to helping them deal with this scourge amongst our children. Sisters and Brother you should be very proud of this effort!! We at the foundation are very proud of you and commit to using these funds to the benefit of those children in Arizona who are currently or will be at risk in the future. Remember the story I told at Grand Chapter Session of the man who cried to God to do something about some horror he was observing, thinking God had done nothing, and God answer was “I did I made you!”. You, my Sisters and Brothers of this beautiful Order, truly did what God made you to do this past year and we thank you!
