ART COMPETITION RULES In keeping with the theme “Every little thing is gonna be alright,” express in a chosen media what this means to you, as it relates to the work of The Land Settlement Agency. Categories are as follows: Forms 1-3: Media choices can be graphite pencil, chalk pastel, oil pastel, acrylic paint, pen and ink or coloured pencil. These can be limited to one choice or the use of m...ixed media such as fabric and natural or “found” materials. (Drawing, imaginative composition/painting, mixed media or collage). Forms 4-6: Media choices, graphite pencil, coloured pencil, chalk pastel, oil pastel, pen and ink, acrylic paint, linoleum block printing or airbrush. These can be limited to one choice or the use of mixed media, such as fabric and natural or “found” materials. (Drawing, imaginative composition/painting, mixed media or collage). ~Artwork submitted must be no bigger than A2 18x24 inches and no smaller than 11x16. ~Paper choice should be appropriate to media selection. ~Work must be properly matted, sprayed with fixative for dry media. ~All work at the back right corner must include name of student, name of school, an email address and contact number, Principal’s signature, school stamp and title of piece. ~ Art pieces must additionally include a written description (100 words or less) of what is being portrayed and how it reflects a sense of positivity and growth, a description of the location where the piece was sketched and the names of any persons (if known).
