ARTIST OF THE WEEK! This week we spotlight Anastacia Arts. Stacia is a local painter and potter. This week in an email to me she described her evolution as an artist: When I first began creating as an artist, I was interested in realism and perfectionism. I wanted to create objects just as I saw them. While I still enjoy creating in this style, it can sometimes feel restricting. Today, as an artist, I enjoy a more expressionistic style. I enjoy using vibrant colors to express the way I perceive different objects. The strong contrast between light and shadow has always fascinated me. Check her out!
