He sat down by the window as he saw the first Snow hit the window panes. A faint smile appeared on his face as he took out the paper and clipped It to the pad... The clock tick - tocked away as he filled the plain sheet of paper with words. He suddenly looked up to see her rustling his hair and he frowned don do that Khushi... Khushi chuckled as she sat down next to him Its the letter right? He nodded and got back into it.. do you believe?... she told him softly running her hands through his hair as he cut her even beofre she could finish it will... its a forever promise he said looking back into his paper.. She got up as he held her hand pancakes plz... I feel like eating them.. She nodded and turned as he tugged her again and some hot jelebis.- sugar freee he added as she smiled bright and disappeared into the kitchen you cant make them Arnav khushi said her hands on her head as she saw him burning the jelebis for the 5th time... you need to be patient.. Practice makes a man perfect he said as he circled the dough on the boiling oil and your practice makes my kitchen terrible she said snatching the dough from his hands making him utter what the! Your so mean yeah... Coz I don turn jelebis dark she said as she quickly circled the dough making few last jelebis with the dough left.. Just as she was about to take them out she felt a strong pair of arms sliding around her waist. Her left hands quickly reached for his as he held her tighter letting his fingers tease her bare skin sending down waves of pleasure down her spine as she shut her eyes... He slowly ran his fingers along her arms and as he bent letting his hard lips brush against her soft cheeks the spoon in ehr hand fell to the floor only to be caught by him in time... arnavjiii was all she could whisper as he smiled seeing her go all red and brushed her nose tip whispering its blackkk she quickly wiped her nose wondering if something was stuck when arnav held ehr wrist and his eyes pointed to the stove where the jelebis had been burnt to dark black as she coughed and he smiled i thought you don turn jelebis black and walked away as she screamed LAAD GOVERNOR KAHIKE... khushiii came the voice as she snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the tawa and her eyes popped out as he mouth went wide... He peeped in and let out a sigh... you burnt them again... its the 5th time khushiii he sighed turning off the gas stove as he walked out grumbling and she slopped into the stool beside pouting her lips... they are lovely he said as he munched the pancakes and he smiled at the shapeless jelebis as she held her ears cutely i am sorry he pulled her hands down and shook his head i cant swallow them in shape anyway khushi.. so its okayyy She chuckled as he thrust a piece of jelebi in her mouth and they finished their dinner quickly My coat he asked raising his one eyebrow as she helped him into it her eyes still pleading him not to go... i shall be back in a while he said as he set the hat in his head and walked into the pouring snow... She rolled her eyes for a second and screamed wait... i wanna come along tooo you have something to post? he asked curiously seeing her hands empty noo... but i want to come with you she insisted as he held her hand and they set off its more beautiful than last year..just 2 days left... i wish Christmas eve turns out even better he hissed as he tightened his grip on her hand and she smiled He smiled looking at the envelope in his hands and looked at her are you sure you have nothing to ask for and she smiled and kissed him on his cheeks i am sure you have done my part too and he nodded as he slid the envelope into the Box and they walked back home... SHe smiled looking at his sleeping form...she ran her hands into his hair as he held her palms and pulled it under his cheeks and continued sleeping as she smiled LAAD GOVERNOR KAHIKE It was December 24 Christmas eve... celebrations amidst snow were at all all corners of the city.. The church bells kept ringing every now and then sending in vibes of celebration into the air... He got up as he kissed her cheeks it does look better than yesterday and she nodded as he quickly walked to the door grabbing his coat and rushed to the box at the end of his house yard She rushed behind... she knew what was coming... but he came back walking faster a bright smile on his face and she looked at him puzzled i told you its a forever promise he said as he dragged her in but are you sure its yours? she asked him curious it has my name ... cant you see? he stormed in anger as he threw the gift wrapper aside and revealed his wish gift its exactly what i asked for .. he said smiling bright She couldnt wish for anything more that minute... she had the least idea of how it happened but that was not going to stop from enjoy the bliss in his smile and words so your wish is complete? she asked with a bright smile ... nooo... he gave me just one of the two i wished for...i am waiting for the next one... he said sure and confident She suddenly heard a sound by the window panes and rushed to see someone hide you dont have to she said as the man came out of the hiding nanhejiii she exclaimed surprised to find her neighbor ... It was you?? she asked her doubts confirming as he nodded yeah... i knew and she looked at him surprised Dad is it true Santa gives everything we ask for? Aarav asked sitting on Arnavs lap and he nodded yes aarav he does... but you don believe in GOD? aarav asked curious as arnav looked at his little form and then after a few seconds smiled yeahhh... but i believe in Santas and tickled aarav making him laugh SO if i write to him where do i post it too...? aarav was determined .. hmm in the post box by the end of our lane ? arnav suggested and aarav followed his mother to be fed... Arnav was about to go to BED when he saw aarav writing something by the window Hey Big GUY? whats that? he exclaimed as Aarav quickly put it away... its a secret.. wishes don come true when revealed Arnav nodded as khushi came by his side smiling haan beta.. its done na.. see santa will give all your wishes this Christmas eve and arnav khushi stood smiling as aarav ran across the huge garden and dropped the list into the box... hey aarav why are you dropping it into your own box? nk asked amused coz santa will take it from here.. dad told me... you ask something too aarav suggested and left as Nk smiled... IT was night when nk and lavanya were having a coz chat on their sit out when they saw arnav sneaking out and placing gifts in the post box and counting them with a list and walking back into his room with a smile... Next morning aarav was boasting away his wish come true to lavanya nk and khushi as arnav silently smiled seeing his son content and happy... According to arnav none knew except you but i have been seeing this go on for every Christmas in the last 3 years nk said as khushi wiped the tear that escaped her eyes i wish i could have made all his wishes true but it was beyond this santa nk said with regrets as khushi looked at him with questioning eyes and he showed her the letter Aarav had dropped Dear Santa, I want a roller skates to skate in snow... and one more wish.. i want dad to teach me and we will do it together making mom go crazy on Christmas day.. Loads of Love Aarav Merry Christmas Nk walked away as khushi clutched the letter close to her heart...SHe slowly walked up the stairs and opened the room.. There she saw little Aarav sitting beside her father holding his hand and kissing his cheeks... dad... you will be up by Christmas...i have told SANTA... he never fails right... see i even got my roller skates aarav placed it in arnavs hands and then placed it on the side... Mom burnt the jelebis again dad... i wonder why she does that always.. the kitchen in in a mess... not like before clean and shining aarav complained dad see this.. aarav smiled holding 2 black shirts they are similar... one for u and one for me.. i got it with my secret pocket money.. since you will be getting up after one year tomo i thought your old clothes might not fit you.. mom told me you have become lean aarav said with a proud smile on his face Khushi covered her mouth to not cry out aloud as Aarav then placed another a bigger pair of skates in arnavs legs and smiled this still fits... He suddenly heard sobs and turned to see khushi slopped into the floor crying and rushed to her mumma don cry... aarav... your dad is sleeping... he cant listen to us ? she manged between her sobs trying to warn her son of the heart break in store for him haan but SANTA does... he will tell god and make dad get up... aarav said wiping his mothers tears aarav listen to me... there is nothing like that which is going to happen... ? khushi said cupping his cheeks you mean to say dad wont get up? aarav asked no beta... dad will surely get up... but we cant say when... remember after teh accident doctor said hes very week and it will take a long time khushi reminded aarav nooo... you dont know... santa never lies ... aarav screamed Khushi could hold it no more and she screamed just shut up and go to bed aarav... i know santa never lies... i will play with dad tomo... aarav screamed as he stormed out and khushi went near arnav and fell by his side burrying her head into his shoulder Arnav... what do i tell him.. how must i tell this santa he thinks about does not even know whats happening? and she cried her heart out After sometime khushi walked into aaravs room to see him hugging the first santa doll arnav had given him and sleeping... she whispered a silent sorry and dropped a kiss on his forehead and closed the door... In no time she was asleep on the sofa in the hall... Aarav sat up after khushi had left and looked at the santa doll dad told me he believes you.. i believe you too... he said wiping his tears The clock struck 12 and the bells went loud as prayers were being sung... Aarav rushed to his dads room to see Arnav still lying there... its christmas dad aarav said shaking arnav Khushi slowly walked up to him and sat holding aarav aarav... nk uncle will take you for the skating ... don you wanna get ready? i want to go with dad... aarav insisted daddy will come with you next Christmas .. pucca khushi said trying to smile hiding her tears but i asked santa for this year? aarav said snuggling to arnav lying beside him may be santa was busy? khushi tried to help but in vain fine.. we will see... lest go sleep.. its late khushi said as Aarav made a sad face mumma can we sleep with dad tonight? khushi looked around at the monitors connected to arnav and aarav asked again i promise i wont touch anything? okay khushi said as aarav snuggled to the left side of Arnav carefully not disturbing him and placed only his hand on his... Khushi pulled the blanket over them and sat by the couch resting her heads on her elbows dad... i know your never wrong... like santa.. get up aarav whispered as khushi looked up and he shut his eyes acting well After a while dad.. we need to go skating... santa must have told you... lets prove mumma wrong this .. get up aarav whispered again get up daddd aarav kept whispering ensuring khushi din hear him and went on ranting all night and fell asleep slowly still telling his dad to get up... Khushi got up next morning and sighed looking at the sleeping duo and was about to leave when she noticed arnavs hand tightly holding aarav... For a second she thought she was dreaming and walked closer to find him holding aarav tightly... aarrrnnnavvv she spoke softly her voice trembling... nothing happened and she patted his cheeks arnavvv and his eyes snapped open and she almost fell off his bed in shock After a few tries arnav opened his eyes and rolled them scannign to find his son by his side... he turned to see khushi looking at him shocked tears standing still in her eyes kkhhhuuu he tired as she gasped letting the first tear fall khushiii he finally said as she rushed to him dropping by his side arnavvv... khushiii... he said again putting her doubts to rest are you okay? she said showering kisses all over his face as he smiled faintly letting her take over i always thought i lost you? she said sobbing and thats why you are still by my side.. duffer he teased as she smiled kissing his forehead again Suddenly aarav got up and looked at his dad smiling at his mom daddd... your awake.../ he screamed almost crushing arnav making him yelp with slight pain s khushi smiled i told you my santa never fails... seee he said lifting his imaginary collars... and khushi nodded as tears wouldnt leave her side today i wrote to him and see skatesss aarav showed his dad as arnav looked at khushi... i kept telling you all night to get up.. i knew my dad would listen aarav said with a smile as he rushed to get ready Khushi told arnav everything as the doctor was called and informed them he was fine now and all that he needed was a little rest... nk uncle... see dads gonna teach me skatinggg aarav screamed as nk and lavanya rushed in to see arnav smiling with khushiii Thank you santa arnav whsipered to nk as nk said no nannav my friend... you are always his santa... you give him the impossible too... like today nk smiled champ lavanya pulled his cheeks and stuffed the christmas cake into his mouth.. Arnav sat watching nk lavanya and aarav play the skates when he suddenly felt something and walked in search of khushi Aarav nk and lavanya rushed to the kitchen getitgn a weird smell and they saw arnavmove closer to kiss khushi but before they could react aarav screamed you burned the jelebis mom... 6th timeee... its black!md029 PS this was a total random one shot... it could have been a total bakwas one but it kept running in my mind as the current got off and i sat idle!! plz excuse me if you were disappointed!!
