AS PROMISED SAINTS, Please your comments and or questions would really warm my heart, and let me know that some are receiving what is being proposed here, whether you agree or not we can find common ground. For all who have been following please stay tuned for Part 3, it will be some real Meat and Potatoes. PART TWO- The Seed of Abraham: A Theological Analysis of Galatians 3 and its Implications for Israel The aforementioned understanding of the Progressive Nature of the Covenant Promises and the Prophetic Utterances is critical to our properly understanding the will of God concerning the questions as to the Seed of Abraham in Galatians 3 and the promises to the seed, and many other Covenant Promises, once again the Covenant Promises and Prophetic Utterances are progressive in nature, both for fulfillment and longevity which will give birth to type, all of which will be revealed throughout our studies. There is another Covenant Promise that is not only also critical to our understanding or reconciling Galatians 3 and its Implication for Israel, but has caused great international unrest, and dire consequences today, it is the Covenant Land Promise by a collective group of People known as Israel Genesis 13:14-17. Another very key observation, which will be very important in the study of Galatians 3 and the Implications for Israel, will be the proper understanding of the final, authoritative, conclusion, in regards to Who is Israel, in Gods Eye. This question, of Who Is Israel? has caused great division among those who should be “walking in one accord”, being a “light” for the nations, ,no matter our own internal divisions, the Universal Churches of Christ have a great responsibility set before us. The answer to the question of Who is Israel, now lies within a much needed second Reformation, and Ecumenical Council, and I submit, that the answers are all there, but we must Study and submit ourselves to the Word of God with all diligence, making the Word of God our sole authority, the determining criteria and final answer lies within the Word of God, who has not left His Children blindly groping, on this side of eternity. The issues to the question of Who Is Israel, once again, has been made very complex, partly by the Doctrine of Men, mostly stemming from within the Church, who over the ages have caused division and misunderstanding of many of the Doctrines of the Bible, which is the way in which the very will of God is communicated to his Children. If one were to really study the different layers of Church History, One will find the reason for the creation of certain Doctrines was for the most part due to personal presuppositions, prejudices, and at times just down right ignorance of culture and colloquial expressions. And then there is the question of You, and I, what of our responsibility toward God, our Congregations, Friends and Family, our interaction, understanding and responses to the very essence of the question’s concerning Israel which will be brought up in the Position Presented and this Response as well, will have its E.K.G. type of moment’s. With this type of question, one has to get to the very heart of the matter, using sensitivity and compassion for all Peoples concerned and utilizing the Bible, Christian and Secular History and an un-biased assimilation of those facts, prior to giving an AMEN to any particular view, this is crucial to bringing Peace and the light to the Nations. I do not want to oversimplify, my Response, nor do I wish to over stimulate those who are taking the time to read this Response, with too much Theological verbiage, but I must add and stress, that there will be portions of this Response, especially where there is confusion or contention, over Christian Doctrine (Teaching), that an examination, and Taking A Closer Look at the text will be necessary, in order that You the Student of the Word of God, be better equipped to make sound, informed decisions as to the definition and essence of the text at hand, and therefore understanding and judging what should be the proper teaching of the Church, fulfilling an Authoritative directive from God, that we as vessels of carrying out His will, must judge the “world” 1Corinthians 6:2. . Just a casual enquiry into the Bible, reveals a God who requires a stand to be made in the critical issues of this life, especially in the area’s where right and wrong and life and death are called into question, and there arises a desperate need for righteous judgment to be made, 1 Corinthians 6:2 . Admittedly it can be argued that the Bible is for the Believer, but it must then be equally admitted by believer and naysayer alike, that the Bible is at the very least, one of the greatest Books of antiquity, that sets, and records, a precedence for the value of life, liberty and Justice for the oppressed, and it is in this desire, of all People, that words like; Life, Liberty, and Justice that the believer and naysayer alike, can, and must at least find commonality, in the admission that there is found in the Bible, one of the greatest surviving records of early Eastern History and Culture, that has been preserved and handed down throughout the ages. It is through the Bible that we meet and study a History of a collective group of peoples known as Israel, a people whose culture and cultic practices would give rise to Judaism who would in turn give birth to Christianity and Islam respectively, the three largest Monotheistic faiths, with each laying claim, taking control, and occupying at different times throughout History, a section of Land deemed as Holy, and over time dating back as far as some 4000 plus years, there have been numerous wars over this territory or the surrounding territories, to many to count, and I am more than confident that not all have been recorded. For the Purpose of this response and as a Teaching Aid, I will be using the phrase “Universal Churches”, to describe at times a consensus of all of the mainstream Christian Organizations in existence today. I do not want this to be confused with any singular Christian Organization that might use this term as a part of their identification. It must be noted and cannot be stressed or over emphasized enough, that the Dominant position of the Universal Churches today adhere to some form or another, of a Teaching known as Dispensationalism, which was brought to the forefront of Christian Theology by the writings of John Nelson Darby (1800-82) and the Plymouth Brethren Movement in the 1800’s (much more at a later time), and really took the Universal Churches by storm, with the writings and teachings of Cyrus Scofield and the publication of the Scofield Reference Bible, still in use in many of the Congregations Worldwide to this very day. Due to the heavy influence of the Scofield Study Bible, it will be the position of this response that, Dispensationalism is Biblically unsound and a Doctrine of Man, making the very Words of God of non-effect. It must be noted that early in Christ Ministry, he confronted the Religious Leaders of the day in 1st Century Jerusalem, with Teaching the “Doctrine of Men” and thereby “making the Word of God of non-effect” Mark 7:13. During our investigation into the question at hand I will be showing exerts of the Scofield Bible and some of his Commentary that will be proven to be without Biblical merit, totally contradictory, both to his own teaching, and the Word and written will of God. In the posts that follow, I will at times also use a Bible that will have numbers next to the words in the Biblical text being referenced, these numbers, correspond to either the Greek or Hebrew dictionaries, where a clearer definition for the words in question can be investigated, as will be evidenced by a “G” for the Greek dictionary and an “H” for the Hebrew dictionary (see example below). The New Testament will contain the “G” definitions as it was written in the Koine Greek, and the “H” will be present for the Old Testament Text as it was written in Hebrew. It must be added that these definitions will be taken from one of the most used Concordances, the Strong’s Exaustive Concordance, which for those not familiar with, is an invaluable tool, to the study of the Word of God, it must be added that I will be using the King James Version of the Bible, unless otherwise indicated, and *all emphasis to any text will be mine*. And it is here Saints, that we must depart, when we return to this study we will begin to dissect the two positions being presented, and test by the spirit and sound judgment, which is of God and which is not, as to the question of the “Implications of Galatians 3” to the Nation of Israel. I pray Saints that you will pray for me, as I will for you, please study Galatians 3 and Romans 11, as this is where we will pick up the next time we meet, God willing, for some MEAT from the Word of God. Until next time Saints please remember, Take A Closer Look! BE BLESSED BE LOVE
