AS RECEIVED: Head of Safety TRS - Musayid The most important company in Qatar in the global fertiliser market is searching for a: HEAD OF SAFETY The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating and directing the activities within Safety Section and also coordinating closely with other Department, Sections/ Group in order to implement Company’s Policy & Occupational Health and efficiently contribute to achieve Company’s Goals & Objectives. The selected candidate should be able to implement and improve the level of Safety, Security and the related awareness among the employees. Establish and maintain effective work relationship with neighboring companies/ industries, officials’ authorities (e.g. Industrial Area Authorities, Civil Defense, Police, Regulatory Bodies, etc.) on all issues of Safety and Security that are related to the Company. Support, implement and ensure the requirement of safety trainings programs for the employee and also joint training program with officials authorities and neighboring companies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline with a minimum of 11 to 15 years direct and relevant trade experience out of which, minimum of 5 years in a Senior Managerial position in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer or related industry. The candidate should also possess specialized professional training in Occupational Health & Safety/ Risk Management/ Fire Protection & Prevention.
