AS THE AMAZON DR.STELLA AMEYO ADADEVOH GOES HOME: The death of Dr.Stella Ameyo Adadevoh on August 19th, 2014, who until her death was a senior doctor at First Consultants Medical Centre, Lagos who led the medical team that attended to late Patrick Sawyer is most unfortunate. As the remain of this extra-ordinary Nigerian goes home today, I call on Lagos State and Federal Government to immortalize late Dr.Adadevoh for her uncommon sacrifice in saving Nigerians from the dreaded disease by standing her ground not to allow late Liberian Patrick Sawyer from travelling to Cross River state despite pressures to let him go, because if Patrick Sawyer had left Lagos to Cross Rivers it would have been catastrophic for the country as he would have infected a lot of Nigerians with ebola. A posthumous award to this great Amazon for her uncommon sacrifice by the government will go a long way in instilling spirit of patriotism in Nigerians and will motivate other health workers handling ebola patients to be committed. May the gentle soul of Dr.Adadevoh RIP, AMEN. FELLOW NIGERIANS, I CALL ON YOU EVEN IF YOU DONT KNOW DR.ADADEVOH UNTIL HER SUDDEN DEATH TO THE DREADED EBOLA VIRUS DISEASE (EVD), I APPEAL THAT YOU TAKE A MOMENT OUT TO PRAY FOR THE PEACEFUL REPOSE OF OUR LATE SISTER GOD BLESS NIGERIA!
