It plays a strategic role in the energy strategy and the economic development of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. My Client is currently seeking experienced Process Engineering Section Head who directs and supervises the process engineering activities in the plant that includes studying plant problems, carrying out troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking, and provides solution to the detected problems. Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE The main responsibilities of the role will be to: Monitors daily performance to ensure optimum/desired yields. Plans solutions to identified problems including energy conservations. Arranges the execution of test runs on plants and processes Reviews existing technology versus new one to determine its suitability, and related economic factors. Ensures optimal chemical/catalyst consumption. Reviews design basis for new projects/revamp, PFDs/P&IDs and data sheets. To be considered for the role, you must have: B.Sc. in a Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Processing Engineering. 9 Years’ experience in process and utilities of Refineries, Petrochemical or Gas plant in Process engineering function, of which 4 years should have been in a senior/supervisory position. Good knowledge of English both written and spoken. Computer literate.
