ASD wanted to pass on the details for the debate the Teach First NZ organisation is holding in collaboration with the University of Auckland Debating Society which some of you may be interested in attending. It is one of the best debating events on the Auckland calendar featuring some of Aucklands best debaters. Where: Chapman Tripp, ANZ Centre, 23 Albert Street, Auckland When: Wednesday 30th July Time: 5.30pm for a 6pm start with drinks and canapes on arrival The motion is that schools stifle creativity. It features two prominent members of the University of Auckland Debating Society, James Penn, Nupur Upadhyay and previous ASD speaker James Rankin, as well as Andrew Patterson (Radio Live presenter), David Glover (Principal of Creative Strategies) The annual debate is always a highlight in the calendar providing excellent networking opportunities alongside an entertaining and informative debate.
