ASIA: Happy Tuesday! A stationary system along with colder air aloft over Japan is bringing heavy rain and strong thunderstorms to the area. The rain has brought more than 80mm in parts of Japan and more than 100mm in southern China with the extension of the stationary front. The precipitation will continue through the week with the instability in place. Expect daytime afternoon thunderstorms for the Korean Peninsula, the Philippines, and the Indochina Peninsula.
