► ASSET PROTECTION TRAINING COORDINATOR MMJV have an immediate requirement for an Asset Protection Training Coordinator to join us in achieving our vision of creating a world class mineral province within PNG. Reporting to the Hidden Valley Project Security Manager, the incumbent will provide support to the Asset Protection Department in the delivery of training in line with operational requirements and establish and maintains all relevant documentation and training records for the training cell. You will also develop, implement and trains all APD operational personnel in line with international standards and security best practice. Major responsibility areas include: • Compliance to relevant PNG legislation • Collaborate with other offices and agencies in order to exchange information and coordinate activities • Monitor security programs designed to protect personnel, facilities, and information • Provide a monthly report to the Asset Protection Manager • Ensure all training is completed within PNG government guidelines and in line with international Human Rights standards • Determine scope, timing and schedule of all training activities in line with operational requirements. • Develop relationships with other stakeholders including RPNGC regarding training requirements and standards within PNG • Prepare detailed reports on training developments within the APD • Ensure monthly audits are completed on all training resources within the department • Develop and maintain a robust training database • Provide training and consultation on all Emergency and Crisis Management activities within MMJV • Assist in the general security operations of the APD when required • Develop policies and procedures pertinent to the APD training section Favourable candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes: • Ability to communicate in both English and Tok Pisin • Cert IV Training and Assessment • Ability to attain Work Place assessor qualifications • Police operational safety experience • Experience within a training role - mining • Understanding of the Voluntary Principles of Human Rights and Security Standards • A minimum of ten years formal Police or Military training • Experience in a supervisory training position • Experience in Crisis and Emergency management within the mining sector MMJV has partnered with Air Energi to support all talent acquisition activities relating to the Morobe Mining Joint Ventures.
