ASTRONAUT SHOUTS THE MEDIA A WARNING - THEN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: Its 2008 and France. The first French woman in space was hospitalized after she tried to take her own life - Claudie Haignere, whose husband is also an astronaut - and a man who photographed a UFO while in space - was hospitalized in 2008 after she tried to commit suicide. Her husband is Jean-Pierre Haigneré (born 19 May 1948) who is a French Air Force officer - he became an astronaut at the same time as his wife. The asteroid 135268 Haigneré is named in the couples honour. Awwww… But the weirdness goes on… Mrs Claudie Haignere visited the Mir space station for 16 days in 1996, as part of the Russian-French Cassiopée mission. She is basically a biologist. She had no pilot or aeronautics experience - her speciality was in biomechanics and studying muscle and bone movement. Was she sent into space to study the bodies of aliens? In 2001, Haigneré became the first European woman to visit the International Space Station, as part of the Andromède mission. Almost immediately upon touchdown, she retired from the space agency on June 18, 2002 - she was then offered a cushy job in the French government, but within 6 years was in intensive care after having attempted to kill herself! Why? Rumours say that since her return from space she had become convinced that our Earth had been visited in the historical past by ‘ancient astronauts’ who had not only had colonized our Planet but had genetically engineered the then existing semi-human life forms into our present day human race. Her husband photographed a flat, metallic flying saucer whilst in space. Some uncorroborated sources say that she shouted something like The people must be saved - tell them! but reports are sketchy and since then we havent heard a peep for her or her husband. The mathematical probability of a husband and wife both being qualified to be astronauts is, ahem, astronomical… Were they chosen to keep a secret?
