ASUP Strike Update 26th June, 2013: The meeting of ASUP and FG today held at yabatech went well, but we were informed that tomorrow would be the grand finale of the meeting which is NEC 74th inaugural meeting at Anambra okoh poly.. According to our Source, the Polytechnic strike might be called off tomorrow at the meeting. But what will happened if the strike is not called off tomorrow? well read it below, but we hope it will not come to this. Announcement: The National Association of Polytechnic Student(NAPS) to Protest 1st July, 2013 if Strike is not called off this week The leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Student(NAPS) under the Executive president Elect Comrade Ogbonanya Sunday of Delta state Polytechnic has directed that all axis should suspend any plan of protest as the ultimatum issued by the Senate President of the Association Comrade Salahudeen A Lukman in the last press release shall expires on Thursday 27th June 2013 while we preserve Friday as a grace to the Federal Government to ensure our teeming student resume back on campus while if they fails all Polytechnic, Monotechnic, colleges of technology students nationwide are expected to report in Abuja on Monday 1st July 2013 for mass peaceful protest and final occupation of the parastatal such as National Assembly, Fed Minister of Education and civil service commission till our demands are met. He implore all Nigerian students to answer this clarion call as it is a struggle for the benevolent of our carrier and future. Wish you all a save journey to Abuja. The National Association of Polytechnic Student (NAPS) has finally fixed a date for the mass protest to be held in Abuja on 1st July, 2013, the protest wil take place if the strike is not called off dis week. NAPS is urging all Student Union Government (SUG) excos and students to get themselves prepare.
