AT DISCOVERY GREEN, downtown H-town, awaiting the show to begin...Hand from TEXAS, starts the festivities at 8pm...movie at 9pm, the great HBO documentary film All About Ann : The Story of Ann Richards...FREE AND OPEN to the public...Free food and beer, supplied by a local brewery...Lily of the staff of MY Councilmember, the Honorable Robert Gallegos, is curiously in charge of the free beer stand, and because of my political connections at City Hall, they sneaked me the FIRST beer of the evening, now THAT is REAL political pull in this city !..and if you look closely, you will see the face of ET in my free beer! Wow, that could only mean one thing... this could be a magic night, opening remarks and welcome by the Mayor of Houston, the once-honorable Annise Parker...free beer. Free food, lots of political intrigue, fear and loathing...FREE entertainment in HOUSTON on a cool AUGUST night....ORALEZZZZ, Cabrones !
