AT LAST, PETER OBI DUMPS APGA AND DEFECTS TO PDP Obi! Obi! Obi! Peter Obi! You can never stop amazing us with your selfish ambition and moves for power and accumulation of wealth. The Anambra people and ndigbo have once again have been fooled by the selfish ambition of the Chameleonic Peter Obi. It is no surprise to us that Peter Obi brought the Anambra people to a four corner road and dumped them. Paffcomm has been vindicated in all revelations on and about APGA and Peter Obi. The only revelation that is still to come to pass is APGA official joining PDP. Though, they have officially adopted President Jonathan as APGA flag bearer in the 2015 presidential election. Is Peter really fights for ndigbo or his pocket?....... Paffcomm Cyprian Ebele, Former Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Obi, yesterday defected from All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in his GRA, Onitsha, residence. He defected in the presence of South East PDP stalwarts led by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekwerumadu and others that included Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, SGF, Sen. Pius Anyim Pius and the Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum. Others were the Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Dr. Godswill Akpabio, Governor Martins Elechi was represented, former Governor, Okwesilieze Nwodo, former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, Uche Chukwumerije, Emma Anosike, Hope Uzodinma, Ben Obi, Igwe Paulinus and Kema Chikwe. Others are Hons. Ozongbachi, Offor Chukwuegbo, Uche Ekwunife, Chris Azobogu, Fort Dike, Jerry Alagboso, Toby Okechukwu, Kingsley Ebenyi, Onyechi Ezenwa, Ibechie, Eucharia Anazodo, Chuma Nzeribe, Princess Adaeze Oduah, Arua Arunsi, Egwuatu Cyril, Anayo Nebe, Col Usobundu, Ifeanyi Ubah. Giving reasons for his defection, Obi said it was for the interest of the nation, adding that the people should look at national service which the PDP has been clamouring for and not party or selfish interest. He commended the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan, adding that “nobody is more committed to President Goodluck Jonathan than me so I will work with him. I am going to work with the President. “It is a question of working with the President whole heartedly and not one leg in APGA and the other leg in PDP. There is need for us to work together.” Earlier, PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, represented by the National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said the visit was as a result of the resolution by the entire South-East to pay him a visit and persuade him to join the PDP for more meaningful contribution to national affairs. Metuh, who said that PDP had never lost election in the East, but to Peter Obi as a person because of his integrity, forthrightness, hard work and honesty which had made the people to love him and to be willing to follow him at all times, citing the recent joining of the PDP by Governor Olusegun Mimiko adding that time was ripe for Obi to join. Speaking, Akpabio agreed that the PDP always lost in Anambra because of Obi. He said he wished they met Obi before the governorship election in Anambra that PDP would have won. However, he stated it was not late for him to join the PDP and work at the centre for the good of the country. He described Obi as a man of integrity, who comes out strongly on issues that would be an asset to the country at the centre.
