THE introduction of the multi-currency regime in 2009 is to blame for the economic challenges Zimbabwe faces today as it caused an increase in the cost of commodities and raised salaries to unsustainable levels while reducing demand, Finance and Economic Development Minister Patrick Chinamasa has said . COMMENT : This is a wrong assessment of the situation by the finance minister . He is either lying or ignorant . Actually dollarisation saved Zimbabwe from total collapse . The economy is down because of mismanagement . Too bad they cant print the US dollar . What Chinamasa is hinting is that they want to ressurect the Zimdollar from the financial cemetery . The question is : why are they stealing all the minerals ?
